'kamale gańgāra janma' — atyanta virodha
SYNONYMS
gańgāte — in the river Ganges; kamala — lotus flower; janme — grows; sabāra — of everyone; subodha — understanding; kamale — in the lotus flower; gańgāra — of the Ganges; janma — birth; atyanta — very much; virodha — contradiction.
TRANSLATION
"Everyone knows that lotus flowers grow in the water of the Ganges. But to say that the Ganges takes birth from a lotus flower seems extremely contradictory.
