ājñā-mālā pāñā āmāra ha-ila ānanda
tāhāńi karinu ei granthera ārambha
SYNONYMS
ājñā-mālā — the garland of order; pāñā — receiving; āmāra — my; ha-ila — became; ānanda — great pleasure; tāhāńi — then and there; karinu — attempted; ei — this; granthera — of Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta; ārambha — beginning.
TRANSLATION
I was greatly pleased to have the garland signifying the order of the Lord, and then and there I commenced to write this book.
