pūrvavat sarvāńge sāttvika-bhāva-sakala
antare ānanda-āsvāda, bāhire vihvala
SYNONYMS
pūrva-vat — as before; sarva-ańge — all over the body; sāttvika — transcendental; bhāva-sakala — all the symptoms of ecstatic love; antare — within; ānanda-āsvāda — the taste of transcendental bliss; bāhire — externally; vihvala — bewildered.
TRANSLATION
Just as before, they saw all the symptoms of transcendental ecstatic love manifested in the body of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Although externally He appeared bewildered, He was tasting transcendental bliss within.
