eteka vilāpa kari' premāveśe gaurahari,
ei arthe paḍe eka śloka
sei śloka paḍi' rādhā, viśākhāre kahe bādhā,
ughāḍiyā hṛdayera śoka
SYNONYMS
eteka — thus; vilāpa kari' — lamenting; prema-āveśe — in ecstatic love of Kṛṣṇa; gaurahari — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; ei arthe — in understanding the purpose; paḍe — recites; eka śloka — one verse; sei śloka — this verse; paḍi' — reciting; rādhā — Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī; viśākhāre — to Viśākhā; kahe — says; bādhā — obstacle; ughāḍiyā — exposing; hṛdayera — of the heart; śoka — lamentation.
TRANSLATION
Lamenting in ecstatic love, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu then recited the following verse, which was spoken by Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī while exposing the lamentation of Her heart to Her friend Śrīmatī Viśākhā.
