patnī-sahita teńho āchena vasiyā
bahu sammāna kailā kālidāsere dekhiyā
SYNONYMS
patnī-sahita — with his wife; teńho — he (Jhaḍu Ṭhākura); āchena vasiyā — was sitting; bahu — much; sammāna — respect; kailā — offered; kālidāsere dekhiyā — seeing Kālidāsa.
TRANSLATION
When Kālidāsa went to Jhaḍu Ṭhākura, he saw that saintly person sitting with his wife. As soon as Jhaḍu Ṭhākura saw Kālidāsa, he likewise offered his respectful obeisances unto him.
