siḿha-dvārera uttara-dike kapāṭera āḍe
bāiśa 'pāhāca'-tale āche eka nimna gāḍe
SYNONYMS
siḿha-dvārera — of the Siḿha-dvāra; uttara-dike — on the northern side; kapāṭera āḍe — behind the door; bāiśa pāhāca — of the twenty-two steps; tale — at the bottom; āche — there is; eka — one; nimna — low; gāḍe — ditch.
TRANSLATION
On the northern side of the Siḿha-dvāra, behind the door, there are twenty-two steps leading to the temple, and at the bottom of those steps is a ditch.
