tāń-sabāra sańge prabhura chila bāhya-jñāna
tāńrā gele punaḥ hailā unmāda pradhāna
SYNONYMS
tāń-sabāra — all of them; sańge — with; prabhura — of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; chila — there was; bāhya-jñāna — external consciousness; tāńrā gele — when they departed; punaḥ — again; hailā — there was; unmāda — madness; pradhāna — the chief business.
TRANSLATION
As long as the devotees were in Nīlācala, Jagannātha Purī, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu maintained His external consciousness, but after their departure His chief engagement was again the madness of ecstatic love for Kṛṣṇa.
