gauḍa-deśe haya yata vaiṣṇavera gaṇa
sabāra ucchiṣṭa teńho karila bhojana
SYNONYMS
gauḍa-deśe — in Bengal; haya — are; yata — as many; vaiṣṇavera gaṇa — Vaiṣṇavas; sabāra — of all; ucchiṣṭa — remnants of food; teńho — he; karila bhojana — ate.
TRANSLATION
Kālidāsa ate the remnants of food of as many Vaiṣṇavas as there were in Bengal.
