ughāḍa-ańge paḍiyā śańkara nidrā yāya
prabhu uṭhi' āpana-kāńthā tāhāre jaḍāya
SYNONYMS
ughāḍa-ańge — without a covering over the body; paḍiyā — lying down; śańkara — Śańkara; nidrā yāya — goes to sleep; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; uṭhi' — getting up; āpana-kāńthā — His own quilt; tāhāre jaḍāya — wraps him with.
TRANSLATION
He would lie asleep without a covering on his body, and Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu would get up and wrap him with His own quilt.
