mātāra ājñāya āmi vasi nīlācale
tāhāń 'dharma' śikhāite nāhi nija-bale
SYNONYMS
mātāra — of My mother; ājñāya — by the order; āmi — I; vasi — reside; nīlācale — at Jagannātha Purī; tāhāń — in Mathurā and Vṛndāvana; dharma śikhāite — to teach religious principles; nāhi — not; nija-bale — within My ability.
TRANSLATION
"By the order of My mother I am sitting here in Jagannātha Purī; therefore, I cannot go to Mathurā-Vṛndāvana to teach people how to live there according to religious principles.
