kabhu netre nāsāya jala, mukhe paḍe phena

amṛtera dhārā candra-bimbe vahe yena

SYNONYMS

kabhu — sometimes; netre — from the eyes; nāsāya — from the nostrils; jala — water; mukhe — from the mouth; paḍe — fell; phena — foam; amṛtera — of nectar; dhārā — torrents; candra-bimbe — from the moon; vahe — flow; yenaas if.

TRANSLATION

Water flowed from His eyes and sometimes through His nostrils, and foam fell from His mouth. These flowings appeared to be torrents of nectar descending from the moon.
