SYNONYMS
ṣāṭhīra mātā — the mother of Ṣāṭhī; nāma — named; bhaṭṭācāryera gṛhiṇī — the wife of Sārvabhauma Bhaṭṭācārya; prabhura — of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; mahā-bhakta — a great devotee; teńho — she; snehete — in affection; jananī — just like a mother.
TRANSLATION
Sārvabhauma Bhaṭṭācārya's wife was known as Ṣāṭhīra Mātā, the mother of Ṣāṭhī. She was a great devotee of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and she was affectionate like a mother.
