sei hāte phala chuńila, paṇḍita dekhila

SYNONYMS

dvārera upara — above the door; bhite — on the ceiling; teńhohe; hāta dila — brushed his hand; sei hāte — with that hand; phala chuńila — touched the fruit; paṇḍitaRāghava Paṇḍita; dekhila — saw.

TRANSLATION

"Rāghava Paṇḍita then saw that the servant touched the ceiling above the door and then touched the coconuts with the same hand.
