yadyapi prabhu loka-sańghaṭṭera trāse
prema 'gupta' karena, bāhire nā prakāśe
SYNONYMS
yadyapi — although; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; loka-sańghaṭṭera — of crowds of people; trāse — being afraid; prema — ecstasy; gupta karena — keeps hidden; bāhire — externally; nā — does not; prakāśe — manifest.
TRANSLATION
The Lord did not always manifest His ecstasy. Being afraid of a great assembly of people, the Lord kept His ecstasy concealed.
