śrī-śuka uvāca
rājann evaḿ kṛta-praśno
vasudevena dhīmatā
prītas tam āha devarṣir
hareḥ saḿsmārito guṇaiḥ
SYNONYMS
śrī-śukaḥ uvāca — Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said; rājan — O King; evam — thus; kṛta-praśnaḥ — questioned; vasudevena — by Vasudeva; dhīmatā — the intelligent; prītaḥ — pleased; tam — to him; āha — spoke; deva-ṛṣiḥ — the sage among the demigods; hareḥ — of Lord Hari; saḿsmāritaḥ — made to remember; guṇaiḥ — by the qualities.
TRANSLATION
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: O King, Devarṣi Nārada was pleased by the questions of the highly intelligent Vasudeva. Because they suggested the transcendental qualities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, they reminded Nārada of Lord Kṛṣṇa. Thus Nārada replied to Vasudeva as follows.
