mṛga-mṛgī mukha dekhi' prabhu-ańga cāṭe
bhaya nāhi kare, sańge yāya vāṭe-vāṭe
SYNONYMS
mṛga-mṛgī — the deer, both male and female; mukha dekhi' — seeing His face; prabhu-ańga cāṭe — began to lick the body of the Lord; bhaya nāhi kare — they were not at all afraid; sańge yāya — go with Him; vāṭe-vāṭe — all along the road.
TRANSLATION
When the does and bucks came and saw the Lord's face, they began to lick His body. Not being at all afraid of Him, they accompanied Him along the path.
