śuka, pika, bhṛńga prabhure dekhi' 'pañcama' gāya

śikhi-gaṇa nṛtya kari' prabhu-āge yāya

SYNONYMS

śuka — parrots; pika — cuckoos; bhṛńga — bumblebees; prabhureŚrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; dekhi' — seeing; pañcama — the fifth musical note; gāya — sing; śikhi-gaṇa — peacocks; nṛtya — dancing; kari' — performing; prabhu-āgein front of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; yāyago.

TRANSLATION

Bumblebees and birds like the parrot and cuckoo all began to sing loudly on the fifth note, and the peacocks began to dance in front of the Lord.
