tan niśamyābravīt kṛṣṇo

deśa-kālocitaḿ vacaḥ

niyuddham ātmano 'bhīṣṭaḿ

Hearing this, Lord Kṛṣṇa, who liked to wrestle and welcomed the challenge, replied with words appropriate to the time and place.
