śrī-bhagavān uvāca
saptame hy adyatanād ūrdhvam
ahany etad arindama
nimańkṣyaty apyayāmbhodhau
trailokyaḿ bhūr-bhuvādikam
SYNONYMS
śrī-bhagavān uvāca — the Supreme Personality of Godhead said; saptame — on the seventh; hi — indeed; adyatanāt — from today; ūrdhvam — forward; ahani — on the day; etat — this creation; arimdama — O King who can subdue your enemies; nimańkṣyati — shall be inundated; apyaya-ambhodhau — in the ocean of destruction; trailokyam — the three lokas; bhūḥ-bhuva-ādikam — namely Bhūrloka, Bhuvarloka and Svarloka.
TRANSLATION
The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: O King, who can subdue your enemies, on the seventh day from today the three worlds — Bhūḥ, Bhuvaḥ and Svaḥ — will all merge into the water of inundation.
